During my youth, there were people who continued to amaze people who always watched Japanese TV with novelty, and to create new things.
In my youth, I watched that simply with my heart in a dance.
Before I knew it, I began to think that I also would like to try to join in and create such novel things. It was at that time that I just happened to learn about the work of a script writer.
I thought to myself: I want to do that too!
It was 15 years ago that I left Osaka, where I was born and raised, to live in Tokyo.
I became pupil to a person who continues to create novel things.
Anyway, I got yelled at a lot.
In fact, I got yelled at every single day.
That person told me that if I want to create something new, I have to have love.
I was taught that I could create something overflowing with originality if I did that.

After many days had passed, I wrote, directed, filmed, and edited my own five-minute short movie.
At that time, I learned a new level of excitement that I had not felt before by imagining the movie in my head.
Something inside of me had changed.
Today, I film movies, and I capture photographs related to movies.

Yamada Gundan will continue to create things overflowing with originality.
